He did his medicine in Bordeaux, France where he also worked in the hospital field. Since his return to Mauritius, he has built up a solid reputation as a Family Doctor whilst also servicing Sugar Estates and still finding time for charitable contributions with the NGO: APEIM, for example. Always alert at recent developments in the medical field he is quick to adapt them to the local context. He has been appointed to the government’s Medical Board, representing the doctors operating in the private sector.
